Last night Friday, July 24th was the first Night of Reggae Sumfest 2020, it was dancehall night and several of Jamaica’s top dancehall entertainers took to the stage to perform their hit songs.
Approximately 20 artistes will be performing at the virtual staging of Reggae Sumfest this weekend.
This kind of virtual show has never been done in reggae music before on this kind of platform, and Sumfest organizers believe it is a very positive move that everyone will benefit from.
Maxi Priest, Shenseea, Daddy 1, Ding Dong, Chronic Law, Sizzla, Koffee, Protoje and Lila Ike are among the acts scheduled to perform.
Bogdanovich believes It’s a great platform, a global one, and this will be the game changer for reggae and dancehall artistes.
