Clarks to Release New Wallabee Boot and Desert Cup Designs – See Photos and Watch Video

Following their first collaboration in 2013, Iconic British shoe manufacturer Clarks is set to release new designs for their popular Wallabee boot and their latest model, the Desert Cup, with London-based retailer Footpatrol.

Footpatrol and Clarks first collaborated under the latter’s Sportswear range, modifying the brand’s existing sportswear-inspired shoe silhouette to create the Tawyer Pack. With tranquillity and reclusiveness serving as the theme for their upcoming collection, Footpatrol will be putting its own spin on the Clarks Originals line.

Footpatrol recently released their ad campaign for the collection, featuring British grime rapper D Double E on a journey through surreal landscapes to find his “Zen.” An endeavour that is easily accomplished with the Wallabee and Dessert Cup’s sleek new design.

Drawing on inspiration from Japanese Zen gardens and the feelings of mindfulness and inner calmness that they evoke, both shoe designs feature the circular rake patterns associated with them. The Wallabee features incised Zen patterns on the toe vamp as well as rounded embroidery detailing on the rears and heel counter.

Made from a combination of long nap Chewbacca and buttery suede, the shoe will be available in tan grey.

Also available in tan grey, the ankle cut build Dessert Cup features Zen rake patterns embroidered into the hairier Chewbacca suede of the shoe. The latest collection of Wallabees and Dessert Cups will launch exclusively at Footpatrol, in-store and online, on June 29 at the cost of £160.
