Constable Charged For Stolen Gun

Reports are that a service Firearm was stolen by a police constable on October 15, 2019 and brought to his home in 9 mile Clarendon which was searched extensively and the gun found.

Charged for stealing the service weapon is Constable Ajani Bean who is said to have taken the gun from a police station. The missing firearm was identified as a Glock which contained fourteen rounds of 9 mm ammunition.

The constable was slapped with charges of simple larceny of firearm, illegal possession of a firearm, and illegal possession of ammunition after finally being arrested.

Ajani Bean will be sentenced on September 14 since he had actually pleaded guilty before the court on June 24.
