Crime Minister Calls Out Stefflon Don: Demands His $US1,000 Voice-Over Fee in Videos

In a video currently circulating online, Crime Minister took aim at English rapper Stefflon Don, demanding that the artiste give him his money for his contribution to her debut album.
In the video, Crime Minister, a former associate of music producer Rvssian, requested that his viewers tag the Hurtin’ Me singer.
“Mi need unuh fi guh tag Stefflon Don dog and tell dem fi send mi mi money dog. A wah do dem people yah dog, mi will risk it all enuh,” Crime Minister said.
Crime Minister, who is also known as Consie, is known to do voice-overs and act occasionally. He went on to release a second video, during which he shared that Stefflon Don owed him for a voiceover that he did on her new album, Island 54.
The rapper’s debut studio album was released on June 28, and according to Crime Minister, he is owed US$1000 for his voiceover on her track, Top Toppa. Additionally, Crime Minister said that he wrote his lines from the voiceover and was owed royalties too.
After a lengthy wait, Crime Minister said that Stefflon’s team sent him a contract for him to sign, after which he should have been paid. However, Crime Minister alleges that he was tricked into signing over the rights to his contribution to the track.

“Afta mi tink mi a sign di contract fi deh pan dis girl yah album and everyting nice, mi realise when di album come out mi a hear mi voice and a everyting mi deh pan di track a mi start har album but mi nah si mi name pan nutting. Nuh pamphlet or nuh booklet nuh have mi name or nuh CD [ … ] Yuh see when mi guh read back di lickle contract, r**scl**t, nuh eh wull a mi rights mi a sign weh,” Crime Minister said.
He further shared that according to the terms of the contract, he is owed no additional royalties, only his $1000 fee.
In a follow-up video, Crime Minister shared that he was contacted by Stefflon’s team, who expressed surprise that he had not been paid. He added that the team said he would be paid today.
