Dainalyn Swaby Crowned Miss Jamaica Festival Queen 2017

[Sharingbuttons]Dainalyn Swaby was crowned the new Festival Queen on Tuesday night at the National Arena.

Swaby, who represented the parish of St. Elizabeth, walked away with the title as well as more than $1 million in cash and prizes.

She also received several sectional prizes including Most Culturally Aware and Best Talent.

With the win, Swaby made history, becoming the first representative from St. Elizabeth to earn the national title.

Second place went to St. Ann’s Naresha Jackson and Ava-Gail Lindsay of St. Mary was placed third.
