Dancehall Artiste Unknown Gringo Fatally Shot in Trelawny

Rising dancehall artiste Unknown Gringo was reportedly shot and killed some hours ago. The news of his passing has swept across social media, with fans expressing their sorrows and condolences.
Jamaica Observer cited information from the Corporate Communications Unit and reported that the singer was fatally shot during an attack in Trelawny this morning.
A spokesperson from the CCU explained, “We are aware that there was a shooting involving a deejay in Trelawny but we have not confirmed the details as yet.”
Meanwhile, unofficial reports say that he was killed inside a house in Falmouth.
Two hours ago, a song was released on the entertainer’s YouTube channel entitled Lift Up, adding to his catalogue, which includes impressive collaborations with prominent artistes.
The last song, Lift Up, speaks about having dedication and determination to achieve one’s goals. The entertainer sings about soaring to new heights, while mentioning poverty, being envied, and receiving hate for his accomplishments.

Unknown Gringo is known for songs such as Tank Up and Brawling Death, and has collaborated with Chronic Law on Money Machine in 2019, Skillibeng on the track Careful in 2020, and joined forces with Jada Kingdom for a 2022 single entitled Shy.
