Digicel worker Tested Positive for Covid-19 in Kingston

The Digicel headquarters located on Ocean Boulevard in Down Town, Kingston has been shut down for 24 hours after a worker at the workplace tested positive for Covid-19.

As a result, all other workers who have been in close contact with the positive person have been also tested and placed in self-isolation to keep inline with the Ministry of Health and Wellness’ COVID-19 protocols.

The Building will be deeply cleaned along with air purification activities. Jamaica now has over 1030 cases with 14 people confirmed dead a total of 745 have since recovered from the virus.

The Digicel location is expected to re-open on Wednesday, August 12.
