Dujuan ‘Whisper’ Richards Shares Motivational Message Following His Call-Up to Jamaica Gold Cup Squad – Watch Video
Dujuan ‘Whisper’ Richards and Phoenix Academy CEO Craig Butler announced Whisper’s second senior call-up to the Reggae Boyz squad on Thursday. Craig seemingly celebrated Whisper’s inclusion into the Jamaican Gold Cup squad by inviting him to share a few words of encouragement with some young and upcoming footballers.
In his short message to the group of youngsters, Whisper stated, “Man them, always a pleasure to represent yuh country and feel the love and the everything when you out in the stadium and everybody cheering for you playing for your country scoring in the last minute and stuff like that always a pleasure doing that for my country my club anywhere love, man them just need fi stay focus train hard one day it will pay.”
Craig Butler shared the video of Whisper Richards addressing the group of youngsters to Instagram with the caption, “Dujuan Whisper Richards joins the the Great Pioneer Leon Bailey in Jamaica’s gold cup squad. Today we revealed it to his team mates after coach Hallgrimson made the call. We are extremely proud of you whisper. Stick with Leon and keep focused @leonbailey take care of him. Phoenix Blood. Jamaican blood all the way.”
