Elaine Thompson-Herah Runs First Race of Her 2023 Season – Clocked 7.15 – Watch Race

On Saturday, Double Sprint Olympic champion Elaine Thompson-Hera ran the first race of her 2023 season at the Queens/Grace Jackson Meet at the National Stadium in Kingston. Thompson-Herah won the season opener 60-metre race in a time of 7.15 seconds.
According to one of her social media posts in reaction to the race, it was a “great opener” and many persons commented online about her exceptional form throughout the race.

The short-distance race had only three runners. According to reports multiple athletes pulled out of the race after delays to its starting time.
Notably, future prospect Tina Clayton pulled out of the race.
