Dancehall veteran Elephant Man paid tribute to Boom Dandimite during a performance in the Cayman Islands. The ‘energy god,’ who was called out by Bounty Killer over a week ago for not sending condolences to the family of the deceased, stood on stage and expressed his love for the late dancehall deejay.
“Condolence to your family,” Elephant Man stated during his performance and continued by addressing the comments Bounty Killer made by saying, “Mi nuh live fi Instagram. Big up Bounty Killer.”
He went on to say that it was a sad time and disclosed that the first time he visited the Cayman Islands, it was with Boom Dandimite and Harry Toddler.
Afterwards, Diddy’s I’ll Be Missing You song, featuring Faith Evans, plays in the background, and the audience sings along to the track as Elephant Man cheers on the crowd.
“Mi nah look nuh clout…Miiss yuh Boom Dandimite…Mi see dem a try crucify mi pan Instagram. Eye water run outta mi eye, but mi nuh live fi people,” he continued.
Before the 2:21 second-long clip ended, he explained that he did not need to prove anything to anyone on social media and added, “Love yuh Boom Dandimite, condolence. May God rest wid yuh and protect yuh soul and watch over you.”
