Taking a different route from her usual sound, Reggae artiste Etana ‘The Strong One’ gives her fans a preview of a raunchy song that’s yet to be released.
A name for the song has not yet been given to the public, but from the lines that could be heard from the preview video posted online, this raunchy song, though offcourse from her usual positive Reggae vibe, is about badmind and grudgeful people.
Etana uploaded the video to her Instagram account which was a short clip that shows her in the studio along with her producer. The video was captioned, “Back in the studio with Kemar Mcgregor!!!” Mcgregor is more popularly known by his alias DJ Flava or Flava Mcgregor.
Some of the lyrics in the song state, “Dem nuh like me and me nuh like dem, dem a mi enemy, me an dem nuh fren. Dem nuh like me and mi nuh like dem, dem a watch me an mi nah study dem.”
“Gal a bay, nuh like how mi clean yuh nuh like how me stay. Badmind a kill yuh cuz mi pretty everyday,” she continued. She also sings about having a clean body and talks about how people seem to think that her body is fake. In what seems to be the chorus of the song, she moves on to sing about looking in the mirror and thinking about what is reflected back at you.
The song samples a few explicit terms like “gal” and “fu*k” which many have never heard Etana use.

In the comment section of the post, a fan stated, “Different flo,” and another wrote, “No sah dah one ya 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥.”
Etana even sent a reply to Dovey Magnum’s comment, “😂🔥🔥🔥 Good body,” that read, “no Dovey you might haffi drop a verse tha one yah affi good gyal!!!” which might mean a collaboration could be in store.
