Fantan Mojah Returns With Explicit New Song and Video

Veteran Reggae Dancehall artiste, Fantan Mojah is not cooling his fire for anyone as he prepares to drop another dazzling song that promises to bring even more heat than his recent “Fire King” single.

The entertainer who decided to take on a new route for his career was the centre of critics who thought Rastafarians should not be singing certain types of songs, and entertaining behaviour foreign to the tradition. One such person who scoffed at the St. Elizabeth native for his last song was Radio talk show host, Mutabaruka who wielded out a barrage of moral shots at Fantan for the track he previously released.

If that song got Muta so wild up, one can only imagine what this new song with its upcoming music video will do to his heartstring if he sees it. The new song entitled “Touch that body”, is produced by Gold and Goals production who also worked on the entertainer’s “Fire King” hit.

Fantan Mojah recently posted snippets of the video and song on his Instagram page, even going to the extent of asking his fans how many girls do they think will appear in the video, however, based on the clippings the “Mama Hungry”, artiste posted on his Instagram, it is looking to be over 20 females.

He also wrote in one of his post captions that “This one will be epic”, and that is far from a lie as the singjay, does more than just sing an out of the box song this time by using explicit lyrics in his delivery.

The video was shot apparently on the North Coast and it involved females dressed skimpily in thongs and other swimwear, jiggling their bodies on the artiste at the beach, in the water. Mojah also crafted the song in a very unique falsetto vocal register, and instead of using a strict dancehall beat, he hopped on a reggaeton sounding instrumental.

Not all his fans have been appreciative of the changes that have taken place in his career, however, and for this song even though there was a lot of fire emoji in his comments showing he is getting support there were also people saying things like “Rasta lost Soul”, and that they do not like the fact that he is doing those types of videos.

Will Mutabaruka respond to this song? We will need to wait and see what happens when the “Fire King”, officially drops the music video for “Touch that body”.
