A father from Old Harbour, St. Catherine who allegedly killed a man for having sex with his 13-year-old daughter, had been on the run for almost six months and has now been charged with murder.
The dead man was identified as 22-year old construction worker, Ronaldo Reynolds also called Don-Don from Old Harbour, St. Catherine.
The father who is charged with his murder is 36-year-old upholsterer Dennis McLean, who is also from Old Harbour, St. Catherine.
Reports state that McLean’s 13-year-old daughter allegedly complained to her father that, Reynolds was having sexual relations with her.
On July 19 this year, McLean allegedly got a knife and went to the home of Reynolds, he stabbed him to death and went into hiding.
He evaded the police for six months. McLean was caught following a police operation in the Church Pen community of Old Harbour eventually.
The father was charged after he faced a question and answer session.
