Flooding At Kingston Public Hospital… See Footage
Kingston Public Hospital (KPH), one of the most vital medical centres in Jamaica, is currently being affected by what seems to be a broken pipe as sections of the roof have given in, resulting in a downpour happening inside of the building.
Several video footage of the broken roof and the massive water cascading down to the floors were shared on Irie FM’s Instagram account, where the public is crying shame in the comments section on the government for allowing the hospital to reach this condition.
The videos show the area and the rooms being affected by the flood, sections of the affected building have since been evacuated as pieces of the ceiling continue to fall onto the flooded floor. The security is also seen in the footage assisting in moving chairs.
One of the users in the comment section offered a solution to this problem, suggesting the government “use the money for this New Parliament building to upgrade hospitals”.
