A video showing female prisoners twerking has gone viral online.
While correctional facilities are typically regarded as grim environments with strict regulations, several female inmates were captured having a fun time dancing in booty shorts.
In the video, the women can be seen sporting white shorts, matching crop tops, and ski masks.
As rapper Latto’s Sunday Service song blasts in the audio, the inmates perform a skit to the lyrics of the song, clasping their hands, twerking, and playing tug-of-war with someone dressed as a male.
It’s unclear when the footage was recorded and where it was recorded.

The video was posted on X on Wednesday, and within nine hours, it amassed over 1.9 million views and 13.3K likes.
The video attracted mixed responses, as one viewer commented, “I need me a prison bae,” and another said, “That’s some ghetto behavior.”
