Footage of Thieves Robbing Nike Store
A group of thieves were captured on video storming a Los Angeles Nike store, stealing numerous boxes of shoe merchandise and clothing from the fashion outlet.
The footage circulating showed masked suspects both male and female, ransacking the store and leaving with numerous items. The 17 suspects according to the LA Police Department, are reported to be between the ages of 15 and 20.
As seen in the video, the burglars carried big trash bags and threw several shoe boxes in. While making their grand escape from the outlet, some also snatched a handful of jackets from the display racks. Other customers stood on the sidelines watching while the incident occurred.
Further reports state that this flash mob robbery occurred at about 5:50 p.m. on Sunday and that the suspects escaped in five vehicles.
It is estimated that the total cost of merchandise stolen is approximately USD 12,000.
