Footage Resurfaces of A$AP Rocky Saying “I forever owe Drake!” Hours After New Diss Song

Hours after A$AP Rocky took aim at Drake in the song ‘Show Of Hands,’ by Future & Metro Boomin which debuted on April 12, a video has resurfaced of the New York rapper pledging loyalty to the Canadian rapper.

In the video Rocky says, “I forever owe Drake, the only person to put on for me when i aint had nobody. Drake was the first person to put on before anybody, he didn’t want to sign me,” he went on to outline that Drake supported him because of his “raw talent”.

Those words from A$AP Rocky were made a while ago, and he is singing a different note nowadays. In the newly released song he raps, “Claiming their partners are the best, I ended up with the least favourable/Emotions stirred over females, are you upset?”

He continues, “I was involved before your child was conceived, I was the first, indeed/Trust is scarce, it’s always us, not them/Noticed your new release/It’s amusing how it appeared and disappeared.” Via those lyrics, Rocky brings Drake’s ex, Sophie Brussaux, into the conversation, implying a previous relationship with her.

He also critiques Drake’s recent work, suggesting it lacked impact. The footage was shared on Friday to X by Drake’s supporter and online personality DJ Akademiks with the caption, “These were the days.”
