As per a statement from Unruly Entertainment and Popcaan on Thursday, bias may have contributed to the St. Thomas deejay being treated unfairly, stemming from his repeated refusal to attend Reggae Sumfest in previous years.

Skatta also alluded to weapons being the issue why Popcaan and Chronic Law were not let into the venue sooner.

Thursday evening, footage surfaced of Popcaan and allegedly Chronic Law along with their crew members attempting to enter the venue. While it’s unclear if everyone involved were apart of each crew, at first glance, it looks to be a huge entourage, something Foota Hype pointed out as being a factor for the hold up.

In the video now making rounds online, Popcaan is seen amongst the crowd puffing a splif.
