Footage Shows Police Fatally Shooting Woman Who Called 911 for Help – Watch Video
Many Americans are in uproar following the killing of a female by law enforcers in Illinois, USA. The incident was caught on camera and the footage has been released to the public who have had a lot to say.
The victim is 36-year-old Sonya Massey, as per reports, Massey initially called the police and reported an attempted break-in. Further details reveal that Massey was a paranoid schizophrenic.
While the cops were at her home, she attended to boiling water that was on a stove, after she started to handle the pot, one officer stepped away and stated that he was unhappy with her and the boiling water.
She replied saying, “i rebuke you in the name of Jesus,” she was next told to “drop the f**king pot,” at this point, the estranged woman says “ok, i’m sorry” and bent or kneeled down. Based on the time stamp on the footage the incident took place 2024-07-06.
One of the cops identified as Sean Grayson told Massey that he’d shoot her in her face if she did not comply. His statement was followed by multiple explosions. According to Grayson, he thought Massey was about to throw the water on him.
Grayson was later arrested and charged with three counts of first-degree murder. Grayson is being held without bond.

The footage has since gone viral on X, racking up over 13 million views in 12 hours. One user who watched the video stated, “Wow that’s terrible judgement by the police officer. RIP Sonya Massey.”
Another person said, “This is so disturbing and sick. Why on earth would the officer do this. He was not threatened at all. He should be in prison for the rest of his life.”
