Former PM Edward Seaga Health Not Doig Too Well

88-year-old former prime minister of Jamaica Edward Seaga is currently in a Miami Hospital where he is seeking treatment for 2 chronic illnesses. As a result, the current PM Andrew Holness accompanied by Olivia Grange flew out last Wednesday to visit their mentor and JLP party member in Miami, Florida.

Some reports suggest that Mr. Seaga has cancer however we are unable to provide any proof behind such report, PM Holness did make it clear that Mr. Seaga is facing tough times health-wise and asked persons to keep him in their prayers.

Seaga was Jamaica’s 5th Prime Minster and was in charge of the country from 1980 to 1989.

“I assured our former prime minister that Jamaica is in a good place and that our economic recovery is being carefully managed to ensure social equity and prosperity for the working class masses of the member. I also passed on to him, the many expressions of concern, love, prayers and good wishes for him from the Jamaican people and from his former constituency of West Kingston,” Holness stated.

Based on the news so far, things don’t look so bright for the former PM as he is currently being monitored closely by Doctors and loved ones.

Mr. Seaga is expected to Turn 89 on the 28 of this month(May 2019).
