American Gospel singer Kierra Sheard did an interview with Page Six recently and she shared an interesting perspective she has on mixing her marriage with friends.
Sheard said that when her female friends came to visit, she didn’t allow them to sleep at her house. She told Page Six that she makes the ladies stay at hotels so that her husband won’t feel tempted to have sex with them.
Sheard explained that with her mother’s advice of not having many people around the house, regardless of how trustworthy they seem, she is always mindful.
The 34-year-old gospel singer got married to a landscaper called Jordan Kelly on December 12, 2020, in their hometown Detroit. In 2020, she also made her acting debut in Lifetime’s “The Clark Sisters: First Ladies Of Gospel” in which she was cast as her iconic gospel singer mother, Karen Clark Sheard.
Sheard stated Christians think that because they are believers, they should share with others, but she would not share her man with anyone.
She added she sees it as boundaries, and some friends weren’t mindful of that.
Kierra Sheard is now cast in Lifetime’s “Line Sisters,” which airs February 12.
