There were speculations that Jermaine had cheated on Janet in the past but he never admitted to the allegations until now. He maintained that distance was one of the main contributing factors for the break up as she was based in Malibu and he was in Atlanta for the duration of their relationship.

But in a docu-series, Dupri let the cat out of the bag, he admitted that dating the Popstar turned him into some sort of a girl’s magnet and other women wanted to be with him just by his association with her, he confessed that he was just a man and that he was “reckless” in the relationship.

When Jackson spoke to interviewers she revealed that the rumours of cheating were not the only downfalls. She reveals that Dupri was a workaholic and spared very little time for anything else, Jackson admitted that she needed more, “I would say his work was his girlfriend,” she stated.

Dupri is a recording artist, songwriter, record producer, and rapper. He has worked with some of the leading names in the industry such as Alicia Keys, Aretha Franklin, Usher, Jay-Z, Mariah Carey to name a few.
