Gun Found at Veteran Female Dancehall Artiste’s House in Portmore

Up until Wednesday, a veteran female dancehall artiste was being held in a police lockup after a firearm was found at her home in Greater Portmore, St. Catherine.
According to reports, lawmen from the St Catherine South division conducted a search at the female entertainer’s home where a handgun was found hidden in clothing items on Sunday, May 21.
After the seizure, the female was taken into custody on suspicion of breaches of the Firearms Act.
Multiple charges are expected to be laid against the entertainer whose name was not released to the public.
Investigations are ongoing.
