Gunmen Rob Over $20 Million From Security Vehicle In Kingston

Berryllium Limited, a security company that provides “flawless secure procedures” was reportedly robbed of over $ 20-million by gunmen on Jackson Road in Rollingtown Town, Kingston after it developed mechanical problems.

Reports are that four security officers were travelling in a Berryllium branded Toyota Probox motor vehicle when it stopped in the community to be repaired.

As a result, they were soon ambushed and robbed by gunmen who were travelling in a motor vehicle. None of the officers sustained any injuries.

“We are aware of an incident involving a Berryllium Limited vehicle that took place on June 8, 2022. The incident is now the subject of a police investigation. We will provide an update once we are authorised to do so,” is the statement released by the company confirming the robbery.

Investigations are ongoing on the matter.
