Police Robbed And Killed At Bar In Westmoreland
A police constable who was attached to the Little London Police Station in Westmoreland was robbed of valuables before being shot and killed on Friday night.
Reports are that three men walked into a bar where Constable Richard Barrett was and proceeded to rob him, Richards was then shot several times across the upper body after which the attackers escaped without taking the constable’s license firearm.
The policeman was then taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The incident took place in the community of Chantilly in the parish
