Here’s Jamaica’s 19 Member World Athletics Indoor Championships 2022 Team

Shericka Jackson is set to headline Jamaica’s 19 member track and field team at the World Athletics Indoor Championships 2022. This will be hosted in Belgrade, Serbia, March 18-20.

The Jamaican Athletics Administrative Association have listed sixteen women and three men.

The 100 metres bronze medallist Jackson will be competing in the 60 metres event along with Briana Williams. Also on the list, Roneisha McGregor and Stephenie Ann McPherson are down to run in the 400m with Junelle Bromfield as the alternate. Natoya Goule will run in the 800m while Britany Anderson and Danielle Williams will compete in 60m hurdles.

Additionally, Kimberly Williams will take part in the field events by doing triple jump while Danniel Thomas-Dodd is down to compete in the shot put event. Bromfield, McPherson, McGregor along with Janieve Russell, Tiffany James and Tovea Jenkins make up the country’s six-member pool for the 4x400m.

As it relates to the three men, Christopher Taylor will take part in the 400m, Ronald Levy will compete in the 60m hurdles and Nigel Ellis in the 60m.

Managing the team is Ludlow Watts, with Paul Francis as the head coach. The assistant coaches are Sherone Simpson, Lloyd Clarke, Mark Elliott and Lennox Graham.
