The artiste, who lost his nine-year-old son to cancer late last year, made his first public appearance after the tragedy at the sought-after international party series. Dressed in full red; which Aidonia confirmed as his son King Khalif’s favourite colour, the Genna Boss joined by his wife Kimberly Megan, thanked fans for the outpouring of support for his family during their time of mourning.

The dancehall hitmaker then went ahead to introduce some friends onto the Sandz stage including; Shaggy, Teejay, Jashii, Chi Ching Ching, Moyann, Quada, Kemar Highcon, Jamal, Govana, Rose Don and La Lee. The Supreme Team, owners of the Sandz Music Festival brand, were also happy with the show of support for Aidonia at the signature event.

“Aidonia was one of three officially billed acts for the event which also included Skeng and Bayka and there was also a special appearance from social media icon turned artiste Queen Lady Gangsta, we were happy to oblige the slew of industry players coming on stage and entertaining the massive Sandz audience while showing support to Aidonia who is still mourning the death of his son,” Andrew Ellis Chief Executive Officer for Supreme Team shared.

The slew of performances was also a great way to start the year of great events for the Supreme team promoters and cemented their mandate to consistently provide a high-quality entertainment package along with food and drinks for its loyal patrons.

Thousands of persons felt safe celebrating the New Year with us because we strive to provide that unique and safe experience. We believe Sandz remain a staple because we are focused on providing a fun filled experience for all patrons; from making the event drink inclusive, a stellar entertainment lineup including the best local and international DJs and artiste performances adding to the overall atmosphere and vibe,” Joleine Longman, Sandz PR Coordinator for Supreme Team added.

The team is already in full planning mode for their Vacae Weekend Easter series that will be staged this April in Ocho Rios, Jamaica.
