Husband Cheating With Flower Girl From Wedding Who Wife Supported Financially Through School

A married woman wrote seeking advice from a popular news column after finding out that her husband who she knows for 20 years and married for 13, has been cheating on her with the flower girl from their wedding who she supported financially through school.

The woman who goes by the initial E.L. claims that her marriage was a happy one before the affair. She shared that at the beginning of their relationship, her husband wanted her to be a housewife and not work, however, she sought self-employment by buying and selling produce among other things.

Through this, she mentioned that she was able to gain her independence and was able to assist the young girl’s mother to send her to school, as the father was not present in her life.

E.L. then recalled the events that led to her finding out about her husband’s infidelity, in which she detailed that a strange number called his cellphone when he had forgotten it one day. Shortly after, a message appeared from the young girl and in this, she described her using the “F” word and also asked about his whereabouts as she wanted to see him.

The distraught wife stated that she asked her husband about the messages, but he argued with her about violating his privacy. She then mentioned that she has even gone as far as to go to the young girl’s mother, but the mother advised her that she could not do anything about it.

Since then, the husband no longer hides that he and this girl are in a relationship and even so, he still lives with the wife on her father’s land.

E.L. is now considering migrating and has since given him an ultimatum, which is to choose her or his mistress, as she believes that she would not be able to compete with this younger woman.
