After Moïse’s assassination and the resignation of Prime Minister Claude Joseph, Ariel Henry has been the Prime Minister of Haiti, assuming office on July 20, 2021.

Currently, Ariel Henry is unable to re-enter Haiti after a trip overseas to gather international help for the crisis back home.
