Isat Buchannan Bashes The Office Of The DPP for Delays In Vybz Kartel’s Case

Attorney at Law, Isat Buchannan, who is currently representing the “Gaza General”, Vybz Kartel, has lashed out against the Office Of The Director of Public Prosecutions.

The reason for his irritation is based on the fact that the office is denying the defence team access to the cellphone containing the alleged voice note evidence.

Buchannan expressed, that the office of the DPP is “Shady” and “Dodgy”.

The good news for Vybz Kartel’s case, however, is that they are only now awaiting permission to bring the case to the Privy Council, the highest commonwealth court.

The team of Lawyers, that represents the artiste and his co-accused, had applied for the Privy Council since June.

Getting through with the Privy Council means that, the chance of getting access to the phone allegedly containing the evidence, is possible.

Having access to the phone means the defence would be able to prove that there was tampering of the device.

The entertainer, whose real name is Adidjah Palmer, Is currently serving a life sentence for the murder of Clive ” Lizard” Williams, along with Shawn “Shawn Storm” Campbell, Andre St. John and Kahira Jones.
