WATCH: Jada Kingdom’s Alleged Ex-Husband Verse Simmonds Reacts to His Name Being Mentioned in the Clash
American singer, record producer and former lover of Jamaican artiste Jada Kingdom has posted a reaction video to the clash between Jada and Stefflon Don. According to Simmonds, quoting a new song of his, “Chit chat, we nuh respond to that.”
In her second diss track, Dead Gyal Walking, directed at Jada, Stefflon Don made reference to Simmonds stating, “Jada, you a traitor, you guh marry Verse Simmonds just fi yuh papers.”
The former couple had started seeing each other back in 2019, which they announced the following year, and there were talks of marriage and kids. However, in 2021 rumours of a breakup ran wild on the internet when Jada showed off a new tattoo that covered Verse’s name on her neck.
Responding to his name being brought up in the clash Verse said, “U ever just been minding ur biz then….” This was accompanied by a reaction video that was posted with the caption, “POV: scrolling on the internet and u see ppl being messy.”

He also posted a snippet from his new music video for his song Chit Chat to Instagram with the caption, “When they mention my name, ask them if they saw my new video too…” seemingly promoting his music in the midst of it all.

People had mixed reactions in the comment section of his post, _torit said, “Dem coming at you strong for someone that doesn’t give a sh*t about them,” and liltokyo_rayleesiee questioned, “Did I hear your name on the song?”
