Jamaica Beats Haiti 3-2 To Top Nations League Group

In their final match of this international window, Jamaica sought revenge against Haiti as they stole an unlikely point in Kingston in the first round of games in the CONCACAF Nations League.
On Sunday, in the Hasely Crawford Stadium located in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, the Haitians had the better start on the two sides as their defense stood up tall against Jamaica’s strong front three.

Haiti also found success going forward and eventually scored through a well-created goal down the left side, the Haitian winger whipped in a great cross for the forward, who did not miss giving Haiti a shock lead in the 15th minute.
Jamaica then responded in three minutes after a poor clearance by the Haitian defense which set up Gray. Gray’s shot was deflected and ended up in the back of the net scoring his fifth goal for Jamaica. Gray has been talismanic for the Reggae Boyz since his arrival, averaging a goal contribution every game.
The Reggae Boyz took over the game completely following an early goal in the second half, inform striker Nicholson grabbed a second for the Reggae Boyz, scoring in the second straight game. Minutes later, Jamaica seemingly put the result beyond doubt. Johnson pulled off a world-class pass to find Leon Bailey, who rifled in a low shot to put Jamaica 3-1 up.
Haiti presented the Reggae Boyz with a challenge late on in the encounter by grabbing a goal back in the 87th minute. Haiti was now sensing a comeback, but the Reggae Boyz held their nerves to keep the Haitians at bay and closed out the victory 3-2 to sit atop the group with 10 points in four games.
