Rolling Loud Is by far one of the biggest festivals in the United States and is still taking place at this time on its last day, after having started on the 23rd of July. This year’s festival features some of the biggest music industry names such as Lil Durk, Da Baby, Gucci Mane, Lil Yatchy, T-pain, Gunna, City Girls and much more.
Surprisingly on the lineup for the 2021 version of the festival was the Dancehall Diva Shenseea who also invited fellow Jamaican artistes Tarrus Riley, and Ding Dong on stage. The “lighter” singer’s performance was very theatrical, which was expected since this was the biggest event she ever graced. The shocker came when the female singjay popped up on stage, in a Jamaican coloured designed Jerk Pan.
She also had the crowd raving while she taught them the popular “Yardy” curse word “B√mbocl@@t”, during her performance.
After the show, the entertainer made two posts concerning the experience, one a Twitter post and the other on Instagram.
The tweet she made on her social media platform stated “When I just started, people kept telling me “This is a MALE dominated industry!” I am the first artiste from Jamaica to perform on @RollingLoud’s stage! A WOMAN!!!!! DID THAT! Not a dick A Clit made history, honey!”. The post was then retweeted many times, and many fans exercised their courtesy by congratulating the “Blessed” entertainer.
Over on Instagram Shenseea showed a piece of her performance when she was coming out of the Jerk Pan, while simply dressed in green shorts and a belly skin top emerged in glitter.
In her Instagram post caption, she wrote “P√m P√m”, “fresh off the grill!!! @rollingloud !!!!!! Thank you for having me, the first Artiste from Jamaica to ever to get booked for this platform and I took the whole team with me along with some greats @dingdongravers @tarrusrileyja to Share the history and experience with”, she went on further to write, “I am grateful! This is only the beginning of the journey to achieve my ultimate goal!”.
Again fans were giving the female singjay loads of love by way of congratulations, even Jada Kingdom who many believed to be Shenseea’s arch-nemesis for some time commented saying “B√MBO! JAMAICA STAND UP!! to which the ” Run Run” singer wrote “me seh!!” Which showed that the two females have squashed what they had in the past, having moved on to higher heights.
The post saw many other celebrities commenting, even Romeich himself telling Shenseea that it was a job well done.
It is evidence that the young Jamaican icon’s career has climbed to greater levels since hiring her new manager Wassim “Sal” Slaiby, who has not only allowed Shenseea to develop but also provide space for the entire Romeich Entertainment Camp, to latch on to valuable opportunities.
