The man who is looking to represent Jamaica at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy, Luke Samuels is showing off his love for the island after taking Jamaica’s flag high up into the Scottish mountains.

“FLYING THE FLAG FOR JAMAICA 🇯🇲” he titles his endeavours and details that, “I climbed BEN NEVIS!!! ‘Beinn Nibheis’ (venomous or malicious mountain) 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿.” The accomplishment was done days ago, see the pictures shared below.

Samuels also highlights that Ben Nevis is the highest Munro (mountain) of the British Isles, in the Highlands of Scotland with its summit reaching an elevation of 4,406 feet (1,343 metres)

“It took me 2 hours and 54 minutes to reach the top with a few breaks for photos, food and water,” he stated.

Despite only taking up curling a year ago, Luke Samuels reveals his dream of being selected to represent Jamaica at the 2026 Italy Winter Games in the sport he is passionate about.

According to Samuels, he is a Jamaican, Scottish, Nigerian who has a New Zealand Wife. He has three children, he’s also an Ambassador/Model, an activist and a Vegan.
