While on set for the 25th Bond movie Star actor Daniel Craig suffered from an ankle injury and is reported to be out of action for a few weeks.
The Bond franchise wrote the following on twitter “Daniel Craig will be undergoing minor ankle surgery resulting from an injury sustained during filming in Jamaica,”. Production will continue to meet release date even though lead actor Craig is unavailable at the moment.
According to a source, the actor was sprinting when the accident happened, “He was sprinting during filming when he slipped and fell quite awkwardly,” a source told the British tabloid. “He was in quite a lot of pain and was complaining about his ankle.” The Sun stated.
An estimated 500 Jamaicans will be employed for various on-screen and off-screen work. The movie is also being supported by the Jamaican government and other Jamaican authorities.
The move is scheduled to be released in April of 2020. Injured Daniel Craig is 51-year-old and this will be his 5th James Bond movie.
