Amid rampant rumours that Jamie Foxx had not improved since his hospitalisation and mounting fears that he may pass away, Foxx’s daughter has revealed that the 55-year-old has been out of the hospital for weeks.
Foxx’s daughter, Corinne Foxx, revealed that the actor suffered a medical emergency on April 12 and assured the public that he was already on the way to recovery. However, with no news from the family that Foxx had been released from the hospital in Atlanta, reports emerged that those closest to him had expressed the actor’s need for prayer.
With various such reports fueling fear among Foxx’s fans and well-wishers, the Dreamgirls star shared a brief message on social media on May 3.
“Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed,” Foxx wrote.
Additional reports later emerged that the Foxx family was preparing for the worst, but such news was seemingly too much for the Foxxs, with Corinne speaking out on Friday. Sharing an article about the most recent alleged news of her father’s condition, Corinne expressed her disappointment in the media.
“Sad to see how the media runs wild. My dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating. In fact, he was playing pickleball yesterday,” Corinne stated.
The Beat Shazam DJ went on to thank the public for their prayers and support during her father’s illness and revealed that the pair would make an “exciting” work announcement next week.
