JDF Soldier Killed in St. Ann Double Murder

According to reports from the Ocho Rios Police, a Jamaica Defence Force member along with another man was shot and killed minutes after 11 PM on Saturday night. The double murder took place in Spring Piece located in St Ann.

Killed are 25-year-old Leighton Sinclair, a JDF private, and 38-year-old Devoy Webb who was said to be a mechanic.

The police report that the residents from the community heard gunshots and alerted them, on the arrival of the cops both men were found with gunshot wounds. Leighton and Devoy were pronounced dead at the hospital.

Both men are from Spring Piece district. The police are currently investigating the matter, no motive has been established for the killings.
