JDF Trainee reportedly Raped and 2 Male Soldiers Charged

A female trainee was allegedly raped by two Jamaica Defence Force (JDF) soldiers who were arrested and charged after the matter was reported. Their next court day is scheduled for March 29 in the Kingston and St Andrew Parish Court.
The matter was reported on March 12, to the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF’S) Centre for the Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse.
Reports received by the police stated that the female trainee was with a male friend in an abandoned building at the JDF Headquarters at Up Park Camp in Kingston, when 19-year-old Anuk Moncrieffe and 22-year-old Michael Grant went there and demanded money before he sent her male companion to get the cash.
When he was gone Grant allegedly forced the woman to have sexual intercourse and carry out other sexual acts with him, while Moncrieffe was on the look-out.
Moncrieffe is now Charged with aiding and abetting rape, robbery with aggravation and grievous sexual assault while Grant was charged with robbery with aggravation, rape and grievous sexual assault.
