Could Vybz Kartel and Ninja Man Record Music Behind Bars Soon
Rehabilitation through successful reintegration and the Rehabilitation through Music Programs that are being used to shape the way inmates see their opportunities when they are getting ready to become a part of society again.

In a recent interview Superintendent Gladstone Wright who is the officer who was responsible for the program that prepared Jah Cure to become the Superstar he was after he left prison.

The program started when he wanted to find a way to bridge the gap between the police and the inner-city communities.
The law man spoke about being asked by Minister Pearnel Charles to return to the program, even though he had retired 2 years earlier.

When he was asked if Vybz Kartel and Ninja Man could start recording legally behind bars one day? He said. “there is a vetting process that inmates go through whenever they are interested in doing music.

There are correctional officers who make decisions about how ready inmates are to be a part of the program, so he could not say the famous artistes would be a part of the program as there are over 30 talented inmates waiting in line to record.

Inmates are asked to sign a document before they are allowed to participate in the program, they go to an audition and the talented ones are chosen by the technical team, that includes Mikey Bennett and other known musicians. There are many talented inmates waiting to record their songs and it would be unfair for Kartel and Ninja Man to be placed before them.

However, there is a possibility that the famous artistes could become a part of the program and Jah Wiz believes the inmates could benefit from the expertise of Vybz Kartel a lot.
