Kartel’s Friend “Kahira Jones” Sentenced to 34years

One of the four men who was jointly charged with Vybz Kartel for the murder of Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams. Kahira recently had to answer to separate charges including the illegal possession of a firearm. According to reports Jones attempted to kill Chevallo Rodney back in 2009 however Rodney survived after spending two months in hospital.

It’s reported that khaira Jones went to Rodney’s home and asked for a drink of water after which he pulled a gun. He shot Rodney and ran away leaving the gun after a struggle developed.

Judge Palmer Hamilton sentenced Jones to a total of 34 years in prison with 18years for attempted murder and 16years for 2 separate weapons and ammunition charges.

Chevallo Rodney was killed before the trial began, however, the prosecution had sufficient evidence to link Jones to the crimes.

Vybz Kartel and his 3 co-accused Shawn “Shawn Storm” Campbell, Khaira Jones and Andre St. John were convicted and sentenced to life back in 2014 for the murder of Clive “Lizard” Williams.

The police believe that Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams was killed at Vybz Kartel’s home located in Havendale, St Andrew. According to text messages, Lazard was murdered mid August of 2011.
