Kaylan Gets VENTILATOR CAKE at 18th Birthday Party

Kaylan Dowdie’s mother, Veneshia Buckley along with nurses kept a small birthday party for Kaylan as she earlier requested. According to the active mother, Kaylan was happy about the party, she also gave thanks to the supportive nurses who helped to make it possible.

Ms Buckley, who is known also as a baker, did her best with the ventilator cake that her daughter had requested via a list. it’s unclear whether or not Kaylan got the wig as she also requested in the list.

Buckley went live moments ago explaining that she tried to post a new picture of Kaylan online however she had to take it down shortly after. She also detailed that Kaylan was smiling a lot at the party and wanted to make sure that the nurses get a piece of her ventilator cake.

There was a touching moment when Kaylan’s younger sister saw her for the first time since being in the hospital, Veneshia explains that both her daughters broke down crying.

Kaylan’s mother detailed in a recent chat that she is tired of the people who are trying to tear her down while she tries to hustle to try cover hospital bills which sometimes amounts to 100k on a given day.

Kaylan was badly impacted by a C2 spinal injury, which she received last year after a group of women ganged her and had her beaten to an unconscious stage.

At this time in Dowdy’s recovery, her mother explained to her supporters a day ago that the goal is to get her daughter off the ventilator which is taking a bit of effort since factors are hindering that to be fully achieved.

According to Veneshia, Kaylan was taken off ventilation last week, as she was getting better and even had her hopes up of spending her birthday at home; however, she went unresponsive on Tuesday and had a seizure on Wednesday which caused the medical practitioners to place her back on the machine.

Her mother expressed that because of the seizures and inconsistency in Kaylan’s breathing, she is not able to stay off the ventilator but hopefully finding out the cause of the seizures will help her to move off ventilation. Veneshia stated, however, that she is not worried as she knows where her daughter is coming from and at this point, she is at a 95% chance of recovery, a far cry from what she referred to as an initial 1%.

The level of recovery that Dowdy is experiencing now according to her mother finds her laughing, talking, and moving her legs even though she cannot walk.
