Konshens and Wife Latoya Spence Welcome Zayn, Baby Boy Number 2 – Watch Videos
Dancehall entertainer Garfield Spence, more popularly known by his stage name Konshens, has recently shared another blessing in the form of the birth of his second son, baby Zayn. In an Instagram post, the Backaz artiste uploaded a video with himself and the newborn (seemingly just a few weeks old) with the caption, “say wsup Zayn 🥰💙..”
Konshens and wife Latoya Spence (who have a topsy-turvy relationship where they have called it quits before) had gotten married in 2017 on Sunday, November 19. The ceremony was held at the Marriot Harbour Beach Resort and Spa in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. While Konshens has a teen daughter (Sajhi Spence) from a previous relationship, he also has another child with Latoya, six-year-old Liam Spence.
When the public became aware of Latoya’s second pregnancy, it was through grim circumstances that a report that she was missing was issued by the Miami Police Department. Konshens later updated the masses by confirming that his wife and the baby were home and that Latoya was recovering from an accident. He then went on to thank his adoring fans for their words of concern and stated that the family would like some privacy in light of recent events.
The post stated, “Many thanks for all the calls and prayers. She is now in recovery with no serious injuries. Give thanks. This is a tuff time for our family and I will appreciate all the privacy we can get at this time.”
The Miami-based businesswoman posted a picture of her baby bump on her Instagram account after the events of the incident had died down.
Konshens, 37 years old, has however spent his last few weeks hosting his Red Reign tour via a series of live performance shows.
After his video post with baby Zayn, Konshens has been receiving congratulation messages in droves from his many fans. One fan commented, “Congrats him LOOK Like you ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️,” while another simply stated, “Congratulations 🙏🏽. Welcome to the world Prince Zayn👑💙.”
