Konshens Says Covid-19 Curfew Makes No Sense

Vybz promo’s Twitter page recently broke the ice on the new Covid-19 Curfew regulations, that have been put in place by saying a few things that had dancehall artiste Konshens, agreeing and might lead the government into deep thinking.
The Twitter page posted that the Curfew squeeze makes no sense and instead of sending security forces out in the streets, to arrest hustling people, the government should see to it that these individuals are assisted.
Vybz promo spoke to the fact that Jamaicans usually have no issue following the law however, it becomes an issue once they feel they are being oppressed.
As a solution for the matter, the entertainment group said that the Government should instead introduce a ticketing system and cut out the arrests.
After Vybz promo got that message to the Government off their chest, Dancehall artiste Konshens jumped in the comment section to make it known that he has been talking about the same thing for the past few months, but has only gotten a backlash for the things said.

The “Gal a Bubble” artiste further said that we cannot hide in the cave until the danger is gone because “hungry will kill u inna di same cave”, saying that to express that the lockdown and curfew do not make any sense to him.
He also added that the regulations are there for people who can conveniently deal with it, and while letting the government know that the same security forces they deploy for curfew management should also be used for social distancing.
In making his point Konshens highlighted that exposure only increases when people are given a 2-3 hour window between work and home, they are being requested to lock down with their families all night.
In the entertainer’s eyes, it simply does not make sense as the bus stops and taxies are still filled in the cities, regardless of the protocols put in place.
