Currently, areas in St. Vincent remains buried under ash after eruptions rocked the Caribbean island starting on Wednesday. Eruptions from the La Soufriere volcano on the northern part of the island, have displaced about 20,000 people and 4,000 of them are living in shelters around the island.

A video has been released online with the prime minister and media personnels venturing into the worst affected areas of the island. People can be seen trying their best to to clear the ash and rubble that’s piled up around their homes and roads.
