Leon Bailey reportedly said “I don’t think Jamaica is the best option for me”
According to an alleged recently published interview done by Leon Bailey with FourFourTwo magazine, After being asked about his International intentions he replied stating “The thing is I love my country, but as an individual my dream is to become one of the best footballers in the world. To do that I need to play at a high international level, and I can’t do that by representing Jamaica. It means I’ve got to play for a country that would push my name onto a different platform, so that’s why I don’t think Jamaica is the best option for me.”

21 year old Bailey from Kingston Jamaica who is seen as a good winger, is now being pursued by top clubs like AS Roma, Aesenal and Chelsea.
Craig Butler who is Leons step father seems to think it would be good for the star footballer to be signed with AS Roma as they have been chasing the Italian Serie A Crown for some time, but the better team Juventus have kept them out.
Butler believes it would be good for Leon to be linked to a great club like Roma, he thinks it would be a honor; but he doesn’t want to do anything that would create problems with Bayer Leverkusen as they have been having a great relationship over the years.
