In a video that has surfaced online, one of dancehall artiste Vybz Kartel’s sons addressed an alleged attack by men posing as security officers at a place called the Taj Mahal Shopping Centre in Ocho Rios, St. Ann.

The recording artiste Likkle Addi, who is more formally known as Raheim Palmer, seemed to be travelling alone, as he explains why he was at the Taj Mahal Plaza in the first place. The singer reportedly called and ordered breakfast from a restaurant, which he revealed in his second video to be Café Express, located in the same building.

In his first video, Likkle Addi stated that two security guards who worked at the plaza ran down on the car he was driving and threatened to shoot him. He stated that the men hurled an array of expletives at him, disrespecting both him and his well-known father, Vybz Kartel.

He then stated, “Any man weh see me or me bredda dem inna f@$kin public, badman, and feel like dem wah try something see weh unu ago get…” He then stated that this would be the last time he would be addressing a situation like this publicly and that he would make an example out of the next person.

He stated that he was looking for a parking space when he arrived at the location that was not familiar to him. Likkle Addi said the men ran down on him, asking his reason for being there, and the situation escalated.
