Lil Uzi Vert continues to be in the headlines because of his decision to attach a diamond to his forehead, now he is also thinking about getting another unique and experimental surgery done.

He mentioned the name of Elon Musk’s company recently, it is developing brain–machine interfaces with the hope to help people who are paralysed and he also plans to invent new technologies that will expand the abilities of people.

On Twitter the Philly rapper communicated with the artist Grimes, and he entertained the idea of inserting chips into his brain. Uzi tweeted “Neuralink” on Tuesday (Feb. 9).

Musk’s girlfriend, Grimes, answered his tweet, and wrote, “Let’s get brain chips,” and he said he was interested. Saying he was ready and also asked when she would be ready to do it.

Grimes told him that it was experimental surgery and they should aim for 2022. She also expressed that they would have the knowledge of the Gods if the surgery was successful.

Lil Uzi Vert then told her that he planned to contact her for more details.

He also revealed the inspiration that caused him to get the diamond forehead implant done

The “Baby Pluto” artiste spent years figuring out what he would do with the pink gem, that was shown to him by the jeweller Simon Babaev in 2017. He finally decided to wear it on his forehead. He spent some time getting all the details about the surgery before he decided.

He then got the piercing done and he showed off his new look several days ago.

It is not like a regular piercing, specific mounting, clips and locks were made to keep the diamond in place, by the jeweller. A specific piece and part were made with precise measurements to put it on him.

Babaev said Uzi has nothing to worry about, he also said that the diamond is just as safe as other piercings, once it is maintained well it will be perfectly fine. They made sure that before getting anything done Uzi brought a consultant in to get professional advice on everything.
