Man Allegedly Stabbed To Death Over A Parking Space In St. Mary
On February 13, 2022, 38-year-old Kirk Edwards from Lewis Store, St.Mary allegedly stabbed Javan “Wackie” Larman from Highgate in the same parish to death over an argument about a parking space.
It was reported by the St. Mary police that an argument ensued between both men over a parking space at approximately 2:15 a.m. when they were at a party in the parish. Larman allegedly proceeded to the party despite Kirk Edwards’s request of removing his vehicle from the parking space.
Further reports reveal that Edwards approached Larman after he was leaving the party and stabbed him numerous times. He was then rushed to the hospital for treatment but was pronounced dead.
A few hours later, Kirk Edwards was subsequently taken into custody and was charged on February 22, 2022, after a caution statement and identification parade.
