Man Fatally Struck with Stone During Altercation with Sisters on Mother’s Day in Westmoreland, Per Report

As per reports, a man lost his life on Sunday during a heated altercation involving his sisters in Hertford, Westmoreland. The victim, identified as 38-year-old Alwayne Beckford, affectionately known as “Sheng”, was a labourer residing in the community.
Reports from the police shed light on the sequence of events leading to Beckford’s untimely demise. According to these accounts, Beckford was at home with his fiancée when a dispute erupted between him and one of his sisters.
As tensions escalated, it is alleged that all three family members, including his sisters, engaged in stone-throwing, targeting Beckford. Tragically, one of the stones struck Beckford on the left side of his head, resulting in a severe wound that bled profusely.
As reported by the Jamaica Observer, following the violent altercation, Beckford collapsed and was subsequently rushed to the Savanna-la-Mar Public General Hospital. Despite efforts to save him, medical personnel pronounced him dead upon arrival.
