Man Fighting Woman in Viral Video at Graduation Arrested and Charged

The man, who went viral in a video fighting with a woman at graduation, was arrested and charged. The altercation that occurred on Wednesday reportedly stemmed from him wanting to see his child’s academic awards.
According to a report, 43-year-old Gary Grant attended his son’s graduation, and during the ceremony, the child was given awards for academic excellence. Grant, a resident of Brown’s Town, asked to see the awards that were in his son’s mother’s hands.
An argument ignited between him and the female, resulting in Grant shoving the mother of his child. The push led to the female hitting Grant, who slapped her in the face multiple times and kicked at her.
Shortly after, the child’s mother and father were separated by others at the graduation.
Grant has been charged with assault occasioning bodily harm.
